The Initial Consultation
Our initial consultation consists of a few crucial steps so that our orthodontists can assess the best way to treat you as a patient. We begin by reviewing your dental and medical history forms to find out what dental procedures have been done in the past and what dentists and orthodontists you have used. Once we have reviewed your prior dental history, we will perform a complete oral exam, using X-rays to determine if and what treatments are necessary. We then analyze the X-rays and your previous dental records to create a fully customized treatment plan for each new patient, building out a plan that will guide us towards success in your individual case. We close this initial consultation by discussing financial information, insurance options, and payment plans.
Scheduling Your First Appointment
Once you have come in for your initial consultation, we will move on to scheduling your first appointment. Your first appointment will last about an hour and will allow us to get to know you and help you understand our process and our goals as an orthodontic practice. We have multiple orthodontists, all spread across our multiple practices. This allows you to choose the location that works best for you while giving you twice the availability for appointment slots.
