MEET THE TEAM
MEET THE TEAM
Terry Gruelle, DMD, MS, PSC
Dr. Gruelle believes the Confucius quote, “Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life” truly applies to being an orthodontist. There is no mistaking Dr. Gruelle's signature greeting and warm smile. His personality is as warm as his clinical skills are strong. “Orthodontics was the perfect choice for me. Creating smiles that change people’s lives is our mission.
What Dr. Gruelle loves about orthodontics: “I am excited about seeing each of my patients and consider them my family. I embrace the changes in technology that allow us to provide excellent results in a caring and family type atmosphere.
Patients may have similar dental issues, but the options to treat them are varied. “It is not what benefits me, but what is best for each patient. It is my privilege to identify what they feel is important, then design treatment options that meet their needs, wants, and what is financially in their best interest.”
When not treating patients, Dr. Gruelle enjoys being an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Northern Kentucky University.
He also provides lectures and seminars on dentistry and Invisalign nationally and internationally.
Jerrod Dempsey, DMD, MS, PSC
What Dr. Dempsey Loves about orthodontics: "I cherish the lasting relationships built between myself, my patients, and their families throughout treatment. It is truly a joy to come to work every day and interact with people that I consider friends."
When not treating patients, Dr. Dempsey enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He is also an avid golfer and loves spending time outdoors.

"Drs. Gruelle and Dempsey always put a smile on my face as well as our patients. They treat each and every patient as if they were family. I love working in a practice where all the team members work closely together to achieve the same excellent results for every patient."
I have been working for Dr.’s Gruelle and Dempsey since 2014 and had my orthodontic treatment here when I was in high school. I will be married in May to my high school sweetheart, who also had his braces done by Dr. Gruelle in high school. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family at our river camp. My favorite thing about working here is seeing everyone’s smile transformation, and how it changes their lives.
I have been a part of Gruelle Dempsey Orthodontics since 2015. My favorite part of my job is seeing the change in people’s smiles and confidence during the time they are in treatment. I also enjoy the different relationships I’ve built with our patients in all of our offices. Each office has its own unique patients, which makes our job so special! When not working I enjoy trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
I’ve been an assistant with Gruelle Dempsey Orthodontics since 2015. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing their smiles and confidence transform during treatment. In my free time I like to play sand volleyball and watch my daughter play basketball. I love that Dr.’s Gruelle and Dempsey genuinely care about every patient and treat them as if they were family, because they are.
I started in Orthodontics in 1998 as a part-time job while attending the University of Cincinnati. After graduating college this “part-time” job became my career. I love interacting with all of the patients, and working with Invisalign treatments. Seeing the patient’s smiles and confidence change throughout treatment is so rewarding. I am married with 3 boys and enjoy photography, being outside gardening, and watching my boys sporting events.
I am a Certified Dental Assistant and have worked in the dental field for 20 years. My husband and I have two daughters. We enjoy camping and kayaking with our friends and family in our spare time.
I have been working with Dr.’s Gruelle and Dempsey since May of 2016 and have been in the Orthodontic field since 1998. I am married with 4 children. I enjoy kayaking, refinishing furniture and watching my children play sports.
I've worked for Gruelle Dempsey Orthodontics for three years and it has been a very rewarding job. I enjoy working alongside the patient from the start of treatment to the very end, and seeing how happy each patient is with the results of their smiles is worth every moment of this job.
Outside of working I spend my extra time traveling to different cities and back home to Michigan for very well spent time with my family.
I have been working in orthodontics for a little over 3 years. My favorite part about working in the field is meeting new people and seeing their improvements throughout treatment as they leave from each appointment. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and watching sporting events (especially Kentucky football and basketball).
I have been in orthodontics for more than ten years and what I love most is working with the patients from the very first day of treatment to their last. It is so awesome to see the transformation that takes place over a few short months, the change in self confidence is amazing. I love to spend time with my husband and our dog, Sugar. Traveling and going on adventures is what makes me the happiest.
I started working for Drs Gruelle and Dempsey in 2014 but I have been in the dental field for 25 years. What I enjoy most is seeing the impact a beautiful smile has on our patients' self esteem. When not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren.
Grace has been working in dentistry since she was a teenager. She is from Chicago. She is a die hard Cubs fan and is 1 of 12 children. She was home schooled from kindergarten all the way through high school so her first classroom experience was college. Grace has her degree in Biology from University of Illinois Chicago.
Grace loves Orthodontics because she enjoys being a part of someones smile transformation and seeing the confidence patients gain throughout the treatment process. Grace's goal is to make sure everyone has a positive orthodontic experience so that there are no terrible flashbacks of impressions or braces just memories of happy staff and doctors.

"It has been rewarding to be part of such a successful orthodontic practice from day one. Changes have been made over the years to embrace new technology in orthodontics, but one thing has stayed the same, Dr. Gruelle's honesty when presenting a treatment plan. He is so aware that each patient is a 'person' and gives all the options available to them so they can make the best informed decision for their child or themselves. We are so happy that Dr. Dempsey has joined our practice. One can sense his integrity and the passion for orthodontics."
Kim is a behind the scenes multi-tasker. She is the person who created those financial papers that you 'love to sign.'
